We come here every spring for all our flowers and vegetables. I have zero complaints and always great results from their plants. A very large selection and variety are available. Prices are reasonable as well. Just stop in and I'm sure you'll end up buying more than you intended too ?
The best place to go locally for all your plants and SUPER knowledgeable staff. I've bought flowers, veggies, herbs, and bushes from Ekerts, and they never disappoint. Last year, I waited too long to buy veggies, and they no longer had some of the things I wanted, so I bought what I could from Ekerts and bought the rest from a big box store. Well, my Ekerts ones completely blew my big box ones out of the water. More harvest, healthier plants, etc. You never know until you try, but I'll never go back to big box. #EkertsForLife
Not a super bargain like some others have said, but the prices are reasonable.Selection though is off the hook. Anything and everything you're looking for, and some stuff you're not. I got sucked into that vortex of seeing a plant that grew in my yard as a child and ended up buying it for nostalgia's sake.Do buy their "Eckert's, Potting Mix"! No more Miracle grow for me, now that I found this mix. My flowers and vegetables are doing great in this mix. I even used it for my repotting my house plants, and they're diggin' the mix too.If you plan on frequenting there, get their punch card, but note, it is only good for the season you start it in.
