Our experience and time here was absolute perfection. Our family (4 rooms total) were clean, staff was very friendly and the room service was phenomenal checking on us and bringing fresh towels/linens to ensure our wedding weekend was perfect. Crystal Lotarski planning our wedding dinner in the Founders room was over the top exceptional from the initial call booking to the evening of dinner. She went above & beyond as well as the dinner servers & bartenders to ensure our event was perfect. I would highly recommend this place hands down. Thank you for making our wedding event perfect. Great dining experience. Steaks cooked as ordered; flavorful & juicy. Wait staff attentive but not interrupting. Nice decor....we had early dinner at 5p.m. People still on golf course coming in & out from the back patio which is also available for outdoor dining. A bit distracting if you sit at tables by back glassed doors. Will go back again.
I really enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff who were helpful and answered all my questions. Had great little print outs for things to do. It’s a very small area. Not a whole lot is open in the winter. We took a few days and explored the surrounding towns from Cadillac, Grand and Big Rapids. There wasn’t any snow which limits things to do, and it’s still too cold for all the fun spring/summer/fall activities. A few cute stores and markets, breweries and wineries. The 1 bedroom accommodation had space to sleep 8! A pull out couch, a Murphy bed and two queen beds in the room. A full kitchen and one bathroom. There’s laundry at the end of the hall.
