The psychiatrists are horrible, do not hear you, and talk to you disrespectfully. It's like pulling teeth when trying to get the medication that is properly needed, especially when you get clearance from your pcp for it.

The worst place to go! They called my doctor telling them not give me anymore of my medication. That they were going to take care of me went to get a refill and they told me no I now have to find a new doctor and new shrink. The shrink i had as well was not great at all she judged me before she even got to know me.

I was with sanilac CMH for about 8 years. I definitely do NOT recommend it. If anything, CMH has made my mental health worse. I suffer from suicidal thoughts and tendencies and I always felt on eggshells trying to talk to them about anything. Any mention of even having a brief thought of suicide would put me back in the emergency room to wait for a psych evaluation where I would have to lie to get out of it. Because of that I usually bottled up how I actually felt and talked about small things on the surface. Not only that, I was hospitalized back in December of 2022 where I received proper diagnosis for my mental illnesses as CMH had never bothered to properly diagnose and treat my conditions. I was diagnosed with PTSD and gender dysphoria at the psychiatric facility. Then after my stay I had visited my psychiatrist at CMH and none of my diagnosis from the facility were on there. It had took them until about August of this year to finally put my proper diagnosis on the papers. Not only that, the psychiatrist in which I saw here was frustrating to say the least. I would go in for medication reviews and it was always: height check, weight check, “how have you been doing? you’ve been doing alright. okay i refilled your meds.”, step out of. the office, receive papers with my meds and diagnosis listed on them and then I left. Not only that, when I had come to CMH at age 11 after a suicide attempt I was put on medication by the same psychiatrist. The medication (abilify) had caused me to gain about 50-60 pounds during the year I was on it. Mind you, I was already struggling with my body and had mentioned the weight gain to my team at CMH and it was always brushed over. Because of this completely going under the radar, I developed an eating disorder in which I am still struggling with to this day. It was only a year on the medication when I was eating about every other hour and was nearly in the obese category for my height that they had finally listened to me and switched my medication.I have ceased treatment with CMH and have switched to a doctor over in North Branch. I have also switched over to a private therapist in the area and have been doing much better since then.In conclusion if you are searching for mental health treatment, especially for your child, I don’t recommend that you go here.

If I could give these guys 0 stars then I would. The whole place is full of robotic people who make you talk on computers in order to talk to your psychiatrist. My therapist was amazing so I'll give them that but after I met my psychiatrist I gave up on this place. I walked into my appointment with my psychiatrist (Christine M. Cucchi) and she just started berating me for missing 2 appointments but one of which was because i called them and told them i wasn't gonna be able to make it but I scheduled a new appointment, then she barely talked to me about anything else other then the fact that she needed to refill my meds. At this point I'm going to the doctors to get my meds refilled because atleast they don't shame you for missing 1 appointment within a month

I took my daughter there with my ex wife. We have joint custody, but my ex has physical custody. She was brought here after threatening to kill herself twice while in her moms care. We signed a paper stating that they needed both our opinions/ decisions to do anything with our daughters treatment. My ex changed the second appointment and I was never told. They prescribed my daughter some medication. I don't believe she needed it, so I called to complain and have it stopped until I could get in with them. I was told that even though I signed the paper, they don't care about my opinion and I am not allowed to have any say. Only her mother is allowed to talk to them regarding our daughter. I threatened to complain to higher ups, and was told that it doesn't matter, i will not have any say as our daughter doesn't live with me. My daughter is the complete opposite at my house compared to her mother's, but they do not care... Not only that, but her counselor just talked to me for the first time in 1.5 years, never returns my calls, or calls me with updates.

Garbage. Hopefully someone can answer a phone one day. 0/10. Y’all wonder why so many people are messed up mentally but care to not look at your own actions. Piss poor organization operated by corrupt individuals at the top.
Also, the one person to stand up for me lost her job didn’t she? Shameful. Sick.
