I have 2 aunts at Grace Haven, St. Johns. One is 99 and one is 94. They are both in assisted living. Their apartments are very clean, the food is good, and they have so many events for the residents to do. They are both very happy to be living there, which makes me happy to visit them. The staff is great with all of the residents, and also friendly to visitors. Our town is so lucky to have a place like this!
I am very thankful for the staff at Grace Haven. Not only do they focus on providing a great environment, they make sure it’s enjoyable along the way. I was told to bring my grand daughter in for the mud party that was happening later that week. I had no expectations since I have never been to a mud party. The people leading the event were very friendly and you could tell they were just as excited as the next person. The residents were lined up ready to take their turn on the mud slide which was just amazing to see! And after they had gotten their fun, the staff jumped in themselves! When I first visited Grace Haven, it was during their Bi-Annual event. This was my first time inside the building and it looked nothing like I imagined! They had a dance floor lined in straw bales, disco lights and multiple photo opportunities. After tearing up the dance floor I got to tour the rest of the community. I had thought that was the extent of the party until we got to the Memory Care portion of the building. More photo opportunities, more music, even a home made claw machine! The staff that put this event on clearly wanted to make sure it was a special occasion. I appreciate the time and efforts shown by the team at Grace Haven to make this event flawless
