Imagine waking up in your family farmhouse, the same one your great- great-grandfather built over a century ago, in a quiet Carrollton neighborhood that’s been home to generations. What used to be a community ballfield and open farmland has now become a noisy, dust-filled industrial dump site.
RB Satkowiak City Sewer Cleaners claims this is “an industrial area,” but that’s not true. Their property sits directly among family homes and farms, in a regulated floodplain, where such operations should never have been approved. For years, they’ve used heavy equipment, bulldozers, dump trucks, and gas-powered generators that run day and night to pump water from a holding pond into the storm drain. That pond, full of stormwater runoff, has caused flooding issues, mosquito breeding, and raised groundwater that affects nearby crops and homes.
They say they’ve never been in violation, but it’s only because no one’s enforcing the rules — the township and state keep passing the responsibility back and forth. Meanwhile, residents are stuck living with the noise, dust, and stench, wondering why they’re held to higher standards than a business that’s allowed to treat our neighborhood like an industrial yard.
It’s not anti-business — it’s about accountability and fairness. We want our community back. Spend your money with companies that align with your values — not ones that use government bureaucracy as a tool to harm their neighbors.
Update! Who could have had the foresight to think this type of enterprise wouldn't be good for a flood zone. See updated pictures of our neighborhood flooding thanks to this morally corrupt company. Can't wait for the mosquitoes!

I had a great experience with R.B. Satowiak's City Sewer Cleaners from start to finish. From the very first call, speaking with Pat gave me a lot of confidence. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain things clearly, which made me feel like I was in good hands right away. The customer service overall was excellent, and that level of professionalism carried through to the technicians who came out. Tao and Zack were both outstanding—very professional, skilled, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. They got the job done the right way and handled everything smoothly. It’s hard to find service like this these days. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would—this was easily a 10+ experience. I’m extremely happy and would highly recommend City Sewers to anyone.

I called them tonight after hours on a Sunday with a plumbing issue and Tanner and his crew were here in an hour and took care of it ASAP. Great first experience and they were very nice and helpful! I'd use them again for sure and I highly recommend

Took great care of us! Came out promptly and identified the sewer blockage issue. They brought the right equipment, including very long auger cables that cleared the clog at 220’. Both of them were efficient, friendly and explained everything well. Will definitely call Satkowiaks’s for any future needs.

These guys are excellent! I had sewage backing up into my basement, and they did anything and everything to fix the problem. They did ask and take my budget into consideration before moving forward, and they really went the extra mile to get my basement back in working order. Elbeno (I think I spelled that correctly) and Jeremy were an excellent crew, and answered any questions that I had. I will definitely go with this company for any plumbing needs in the future!

My mom originally recommended Satkowiak's because they have always treated her well, so when I started having issues last year, I called. They are amazing! I had to have them come back today and Thayo and Zack G were awesome! They talked to me about what they were finding and didn't make me feel like I was silly when I told them what I was dealing with. They are professional, but down to earth. Thank you so much for all you do!!!

What used to be a quiet neighborhood where families farmed and kids played ball has become a constant construction zone. RB Satkowiak City Sewer Cleaners runs heavy equipment from morning to night, with a generator running nearly 24 hours a day. The dust, noise, and fumes never stop. This is a floodplain surrounded by homes, NOT an industrial yard like they keep claiming. Our neighborhood deserves the same respect and oversight as any other. Spend your money with companies that value the communities they work in.
