I walked in was not greeted didn't ask if I needed help I walked around that whole floor saw the man standing there this morning went over into lighting and that person over there was helping someone else so I looked around at the lighting came back through the guy never asked me if I needed anything so I walked out of the store

I first came to this place hoping to order my new kitchen floor and lighting. After signing out a flooring sample I was called a week later asking when I would be bringing it back. I was told no hurry, nothing was mentioned of a "3 day" limit until they wanted it back. We informed them it would be returned it first thing Monday. I looked on the Google search for a closing time, which it stated until 6 pm. My husband got their at 5:38pm and the store was locked with no one around. Apparently their hours are not accurate online. When we first looked at lighting and got a quote I asked how long to get them after ordered, I was told 2-3wks. So we ordered 4 weeks ago and still no lights. We were told we had to pay shipping as well. I should have ordered online, shipping was free and order delivered in 10 days or less. Needless to say we took our flooring purchase elsewhere for over $1000 less and are ordering the rest of our lights online. I can't cancel the couple of lights we have on order as no return on shipping and a 25% restocking fee. People were nice but not very informative or accurate with their information when trying to make the sale. We informed them about their Google internet hours being wrong, the sales person stated that was not his job to keep updated. Yes the hours are still listed wrong 3 weeks later. Call first if you plan on going here and make sure you get ALL the facts before you consider doing business with them. I am a bit disappointed and will find it hard to go back.4-28-17 revised my rating to a 3 star. I received a courtesy call on my experience with this store from Stacey. She was understanding and professional. She apologized for the less than satisfactory experience I had with them. After some further discussion and suggestions they could make to help provide clearer communication and information for the customer, I feel the customer experience could improve (the online hours were updated shortly after our discussion). They also refunded my shipping charge as a one time courtesy due to the issues that were experienced. It is not that this was necessary, the customer just needs all the facts and information up front when trying to decide where is the best place to make their purchase and have a good experience in doing so. Flooring America-Saginaw has been a top notch flooring supplier and installer since 1980. They only sell quality products and have the best service. I have been nothing but happy with each and every experience I have had with Jay, Brian, and Tom.
