This is my VFW post, so take this for what you will.I switched to this post, because the post closer to my house was more concerned with political issues and the fact that I from a liberal state originally. The Royal Oak Post 1669 is an All American post, meaning we met certain milestones for community engagement and charitable donations. We are concerned with the welfare of our veteran community and their families. If you know a veteran who is need of something, we can likely help or at least know where to go for help. Stopped in for a few drinks and had the most wonderful time. Great drink prices and I had some of their chili. It was probably the best chili I ever tasted. Clean bathrooms. This place remind me of Cheers. I felt very comfortable. I’m glad I decided to join and become a lifetime member.I will be back next time I’m in town.
