“I ended up in the Beaumont ICU for 10 days in 2006 due to some asthma or allergy issue that caused my lungs to fill with fluid (had happened multiple times as a child). I’ve had asthma and severe food allergies, environmental allergies my entire life, and saw many allergists as a child who never really took it seriously or helped manage the symptoms of asthma in particular. Dr. Doshi saw me in the ICU in 2006, and I started going to his practice after this because I had such a good experience with him there. I have never gone to another allergist/pulmonologist since then and have also never had another ICU either.

I genuinely think Dr. Doshi is the best, and so is his NP Sarah Lim. Dr. Doshi has helped manage my asthma and severe food allergies for nearly 20 years and has always addressed my concerns adequately when I have brought them up; I find him to be very personable and easy to talk to. All of the nurses/people who do vitals, etc. are very nice as well. 100% recommend.

Recently, I do think the front desk staff is a bit unorganized and has a hard time responding in a timely manner unless you follow up many times, but I am not going to switch doctors or anything because of it - I feel like this is not abnormal no matter where you go. I did allergy shots as a middle-schooler until the end of high school, and I am starting the process of allergy shots once again in my 30s because of how beneficial the results were for 12+ years or so.“
