Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital Eye Institute Group provides thorough eye exams and treatment. While some patients have reported difficulty with parking, the location is easily found with good signage. The staff is described as fast and helpful. Doctors provide extensive expertise and patients have been pleased with the care received. However, there have been instances of delayed return calls regarding appointment scheduling.
I really can't put into words the Gratitude I have for Dr.Williams and His entire Team for giving Me My vision back ..It truly was the Scariest time of My life to wake up and not being able to see..My Surgical experience was Top Notch and the after care is just to as great...I do not have one single complaint about My Care here at the Eye Institute...
Our first experience here was in the ER, we were escorted up to the clinic to have my son’s eyes evaluated and that experience was phenomenal. The doctor that helped us was newer, but she was great and amazing with our autistic son, who was afraid of the equipment the needed to use to check his eyes.
However, our return visit was horrendous.
The check in staff is awful. The wait time is horrible, we waited over an hour to be seen. That’s absolutely ridiculous. Over an hour PAST our appt time, while we watched others go back before us, that checked in after us. When I asked the front desk about wait time I was told “you can reschedule”. Wow. I cannot praise the treatment by both staff and the doctors who have been treating my brother with very complex cataracts. They have exhibited patience, kindness and expertise. Thank you, Dr. Maywood and Dr. Gupta!!
