Amazing area, lots to walk around and to explore most of the path we walked on were clear enough I also love the option of off road and asphalt paths. We got to choose if we wanted to go off road with the stroller but it was a little bumpy lol ?. Overall recommend this place. The maps were very helpful and it was marked really well on where the path was.

Great place to stretch your legs! Me and my dog, Penny, took the Black trail. Easy trail. Will mention there is on place where concrete path came up a little but it’s passable. We had fun!

We visited Gahagan again today. We see something new and different every time we go. Today my 6 year old great granddaughter experienced the preserve for the first time although her grandparents were very familiar with the Gahagan Preserve and the E.L.F. Program. It was exciting to see this familiar landmark through the eyes of a 6 year old. We were lucky to visit on a Friday when an interpreter was in the cabin to show us some exhibits. She also told us that she conducts hikes before and after her time in the cabin.
