The staff at Northland really make our vet experiences better! No matter what Toto and I come in for, we are always greeted with a smile and warm welcome from everyone on the team. Toto also asked me to thank your for all the squeeze cheese!

This place just wants to get your money. The doctor was concerned enough to want to run more blood tests, but not concerned enough to put my 12 year old dog under sedation for a tooth extraction. Seems suspicious and unethical. I wouldn’t trust them.

My dog gets hotspots. I called to get a refill on the meds they prescribed less than a year ago but that requires a visit to the vet. I asked for an estimate and they gave me a range of 227.00 to 263.00 and I ended up paying 340.00. It's just disappointing.

Do not recommend. They dosed my dog so bad he could not walk, then called me to pick him up. Told me he was falling over and hitting walls. I told them to send him to emergency if he is that bad. They told me, he is fine now. I asked if he could walk, they said yes. Brought him home and he couldn’t walk for a day! We thought we were going to lose him. They did the same thing with his rabies vaccine. Come to find out they talked with the anesthesiologist after they dosed my dog.
I knew something was odd when they asked me if I wanted to pay extra to have dog resuscitated if anything goes wrong when we brought him in to clean his teeth.
Mind you after all the heart ache, they called immediately with a bully attitude to get their money for the drugs they used and the service.
Highly recommend you go somewhere else.
I’d be happy to talk to the owner if he wants to give me a call. Mind you it’s nothing about the money, it’s about a horrible staff that endanger my family pet!
He was not closely monitored. You call and told me, then ask to pick him up within 30 minutes. Refused to take him to Plainfield animal emergency.
Bottom line he is a Pug, they are more sensitive to medicine as well as I feel your doctor on staff was incompetent.
Remember to all, your dog is property not a life when speaking in legal terms. It is very important to find a vet that values life, not as an object.
I do, recommend any future customers do their research. I feel bad writing this review, but don’t want anyone to go thru what I did. Pictures an old lady who is lonely in her home having her best friend treated this way

We moved to Rockford and needed a vet. After searching we found northland! Thank goodness because my soul mate boxer “pookie” we found cancer. And they got all of it and the surgery was amazing he healed no issues. We also have a Frenchie and he needed to be fixed and we were scared and held off because frenchies and anesthesia don’t always have great outcomes. But he was getting snarky and needed it done. We took him in today, we got pre surgery meds so he’d be comfortable and the vet sent us a picture afterwards. They love our animals almost as much as we do! They’ve helped through so many scary situations and have been the greatest with our dogs! Especially bully breeds! I am so grateful for this vet! I will never go anywhere else! Lastly our dogs have super bad allergies and one his paws were swollen and painful. I am thankful for all the products they offered because they worked and continue to work! I’ve never felt pressured or guilted to purchase anything. They work with me and my budget always

I have nothing but good things to say about the entire team at Northland Animal Hospital. They are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and compassionate. They may be slightly more expensive, but the are the gold standard in pet care and go above and beyond. It is the only place that I trust with my pups health and well being.

Nothing but a giant cash grab. They'll happily sell you tons of prodcuts & services without a care in the world if it actually works for your pet or not. A thousand dollars later, and the "practice manager" Dani couldn't have been more useless, petty, and unhelpful if she tried. Couldn't manage her way out of a paper bag, and needs to "practice" not being so thin-skinned and overreactive hysterical. Shame on Northland Animal Hospital for their greedy money-hungry way of doing business. And for hiring such an easily-triggered handwringing screaming-meemie for their office. Having a perpetually-offended snowflake with a nose ring & chip on her shoulder isn't a good look for their business.

Things here feel like a giant cash grab. They're happy to sell you tons of unneeded prodcuts & services without a care in the world if it actually works for your pet or not, and provides tangible results. A thousand dollars later, and the office manager couldn't have been more petty and unhelpful if she tried. Another reviewer mentioned being subjected to "condescension and threats of discontinuation of service if I didn't comply" and this describes her to a T, in my opinion. Someone this overly-sensitive and easily offended should not be running a veterinary practice.
