Life Beyond Barriers Rehabilitation Group

Went to LBBRG for a rotator cuff tear and lack of mobility in that arm. Spent six weeks working with Brookelyn with excellent results in pain reduction and improved mobility. She did an outstanding job listening to me and structuring the treatment accordingly. The whole staff is very helpful and kind.

My husband was fortunate to find LBB after a serious fall in July. He experienced PT and OT for 7months. His time there was a blessing. The one-on-one staff was exceptional. They were kind, well versed in their disciplines, attentive to his needs, and encouraging every step of the way.

My husband’s PC physician referred him to LBB after he had done PT with two other agencies over a span of two years, and needed something more specifically directed to his Parkinson’s. Tom worked mainly with Christin twice a week for eight weeks. In addition to the personalized program that Christin put together, she addressed specific concerns Tom or I, as the caregiver, asked about. We not only saw progress in his daily movements, but this motivated him (us) enough to continue an exercise program at home. Thank you, LBB!

This clinic is amazing! The therapists there are so good at working with people that have had spinal cord injuries. My therapist, Alicia, was wonderful. She has worked with me on my balance issues. Now, I have so much more confidence going down hills when I am x-country skiing, walking across snow in parking lots, and even spinning when I am dancing. I've had PT at another clinic, but they were not able to help with my balance. I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to go there.

Life Beyond Barriers has been an amazing experience for our daughter. They have pushed her to her full potential and we have seen amazing growth. The therapists are incredibly personal, patient, and creative in their approach. You can really tell they love what they do. Look no further! This is an EXCELLENT place for therapy. Standard referrals will have you believe that hospitals are the places to go for therapy. Not true.

As a lesser-known establishment, Life Beyond Barriers has to put in more work to satisfy their patients. Too many other rehabilitation centers get by on name recognition, and their services tend to be just alright. These popular places were more likely to see me as a diagnosis or some sort of analysis: cerebral palsy, spastic quadriplegia, etc., etc. When it came time to actually practice activities that would strengthen me, other therapies would tell me that everyday tasks were out of the picture due to my disability.
LBB delivers exactly what their name suggests: a life beyond barriers. In the past couple months, I’ve learned how to take off and put on my shirt/pants and I am able to lay myself down in bed and swing my feet up on the mattress.

My therapists, Sara (PT) and Trent (OT), have really lit fires in my belly. Not only are they giving me effective solutions quicker than I ever imagined—they also believe in me! It’s such a refreshing feeling after spending years being told by other doctors and therapists that I was bogged down by my condition. Their faith in me has, in turn, given me faith and determination in myself—and this has helped me achieve my goals.
