I normally do not leave negative reviews, but after my experience here this Mother’s Day weekend, I honestly feel like I need to share it.
I came in hoping for a relaxing self-care experience as a 28-year-old stay-at-home mom of two, and instead I left feeling physically uncomfortable and emotionally embarrassed.
Throughout my appointment, I felt heavily pressured to purchase skincare products I could not afford, and multiple comments were made about the condition of my skin and lack of a skincare routine. As someone who is already self-conscious about aging and appearance, this did not feel helpful or professional. It made me feel judged the entire appointment instead of relaxed.
The massage itself also left me in pain afterward, which only added to the disappointment once I got home.
The most upsetting part, however, was what happened regarding a tip. I used a gift certificate for my services and was asked afterward what card I would be leaving a tip on. I explained that I did not have my husband’s card on me at the moment and said I would call back. Instead, I received repeated calls and texts asking about a tip. At that point, it no longer felt courteous, it felt like harassment.
My husband eventually had to answer the phone himself and firmly ask for the calls to stop after we had already explained that we did not feel the services were up to par for a gratuity in the first place. He stated we would call the police if bothered another time.
Tipping should always be optional and based on the quality of service received. No client should feel pressured, repeatedly contacted, or made uncomfortable over it.
I truly hate leaving reviews like this, but no one should leave a Mother’s Day self-care appointment feeling embarrassed, pressured, and in pain.

Jennifer was absolutely incredible!!!! If I could give her 10 stars I would. I requested deep tissue and usually people can’t or don’t go hard enough, and she had absolute perfect pressure. I wish I lived closer and could go to her all the time.

I had a 90 minute massage with Breanna and it was wonderful! I have a few problem areas that she skillfully worked out. It’s apparent that she loves helping others achieve their physical goals. I will be back.

Communicated and confirmed health accommodations prior to booking, which was then not communicated day of appointments to masseuse, causing delay and then cancellation of 2 massages. Very, very disappointing as I was very much looking forward to the massages and had made multiple plans around the massages. In response to the issue, desk staff decided to gaslight and present an apathetic tone regarding the situation caused by them. Owner was somewhat helpful in resolving over the phone.
Canceled membership, as trying to relax became more of a headache and stress than relaxing! Found a local masseuse who is much more friendly and provides amazing massages.
Response to owner response: Yes, it was your business. This occurred about a year ago. Main visits to the Rochester Hills location, then Shelby Twp (that location was fine.) Thank you for your offer, as expressed in original review, I have found a great local masseuse.
