First and foremost, i take full responsibility for trying to golf a holiday weekend. With that being said, i paid $60 for a round of 18 holes and left after 9. (So did the single behind me) There were 6 somes every other hole completley wasting everyones time. The course was in ok shape, but not $60 a round shape. I feel bad leaving a bad review, I really do. But when we got there, the first cart we got in died on the spot and we had to switch carts.(after getting soaked from all of the water on top of it) I felt bad for the gentlemen in front of me with his 2 kids having to deal with the constant weed smoke from the group ahead of them while waiting 20 mins every hole. (They left after 9 too) 3 hours for 9 holes is absolutley insane! I will gladly drive over an hour to another course next time. Stop at verona, woodland, ubly, where ever, before you come here if you want to play a decent round at the same price. So much greed and such little etiquette in the golf world now, its sad.

Have to shout this course out as well as the excellent ownership. We rented an Airbnb just across the street for a birthday the weekend of November 8th. With the weather still being decent, we thought we could just grab a tee time at any local course, only to find out that most had closed for the season already. We got a call back from these lovely folks and were told that the grounds crew was going to be there shutting the greens down so we wouldn't have any pins out, but we could still play.
They did not have to do that; they could have just as easily not returned the phone call, especially considering they barely charged us anything to play. They even opened up the shop to sell us drinks.
The course was in great shape for its last day of the season, but what is memorable for me and what will have me returning to this course for years to come is the simple gesture of making sure we could get out and play on a beautiful day when everyone else was closed. Thanks again and I hope the golf gods smile upon you for years to come!

In the area for a week on a family vacation and looking to keep my game sharp. Online, little in this area looked that good but this was closest so.... At first glance, this didn't look like much. 5500+ from the back tees. The greens I could see were pretty flat and, with the bunkers, looked to be fairway level. I played it twice and have to say it was more of a challenge than expected. It's pretty much target golf except the par 5s which are pretty straight. The doglegs go both directions and require a precise tee shot or you are cut off from any approach. One for example is only 300yds. But the tee shot is through a tree lined corridor and has to be about 180-210 yds or you have no shot to the green. There are drivable 4s but you have to thread a tree lined fairway and if you are off line, it might run over a hill. Greens were soft but shots out of the rough or a little low skipped as if hitting a sponge. On another, I clipped it from a tight lie and it came back 25 feet. The rough can be long and sticky. Hilly in many places. So there is challenge here requiring the right club. I parleyed my 6 hdcp to nines of 42, 41, and 46, before figuring things out and shooting par the last nine. Cart paths need work and will rattle your teeth
