honestly one of the best eye appointments i’ve had. all three staff members i worked with before seeing the doctor were exceptionally nice and took the time to explain everything instead of just rushing me through. that alone set the tone.
then the doctor himself was great. he actually explained the science behind why i needed dilation, and it’s the first time in 15 years i’ve let a doctor do it. nobody had ever bothered to tell me why before, but once he walked me through it i actually wanted to do it. after that he showed me all the pictures of my eye, the different areas and what he was looking at. i loved that. if i’m... read full review

My family sees Dr. Carney for eye exams and specialty contact lenses (Scleral) for kerataconus. He has been incredibly patient and helpful with getting the right fit for the lenses. The entire staff is amazing!

We visited this practice based on consistent recommendations from many over the years, and I’m so glad we finally did! Dr. Carney was extremely thorough examining all 3 of our children, and he thoroughly discussed all vision correction options appropriate for each of them. The office was extremely accommodating working to get us in with our busy schedule, and they worked to determine our most valuable covered insurance options before we even picked out glasses! It’s obvious to me why he’s been in practice well over 30 years in our community.
