I don't normally leave reviews, but Katie in customer service.....wow. That sultry seductive voice. It all started on a wonderful spring morning. A little chill in the air as the day began. My warm coffee and the heated seats set the tone for what was to come. I was going through a change in life. One magnificent faze to another. New home, new beginning, new Katie to handle the change over. When I called and she answered I knew my life was on a new trajectory. Katie had that certain something, a sultry calm demeaner that let me know she could handle anything. As we discussed what was to unfold, Katie had that calm confidence that ran chills down my spine. Multiple times now, they've neglected to send me a quarterly invoice in the mail and then charged me $5 for their mistake. In nearly 30 years of paying bills, this is the only company that I've ever missed a payment for and it's because they either forgot to send me a bill, or because their cheap little postcards are getting lost in the mail truck or confused with mass mailings and delivered to the wrong address. Either way, it's their fault, yet they make money off of it.
I've also had a few issues with their drivers over the 10 years I've used their services, and it was like pulling teeth to get them resolved, but since service has been relatively consistent, professional, and reliable for the last 5 years or so, I'll be generous and give them 3 stars.
Unfortunately, no one who goes to their website will even see this review because they filter out the 60% of the reviews that are below 4 stars....why would an honest company need to do that?

They never empty my garbage cans. I have half my trash in it still. I live in Luna Pier Mi. My neighbors have the same problem.

Finally got a consistent driver. It took close to a year but now my garbage is getting picked up at a consistent time. He even puts our trash can in to the grass, off the driveway so we can back out of the driveway without having to move the can right away. He never throws it or lets it lay on the ground. Also, after he empties it, faces it sideways, giving indication that he has picked up. I like those little courtesies. I see you guy and appreciate you! He seems solid and dependable. Please, do not leave us, sir! I wish I knew your name so I can call your good deeds out, properly. This man needs a raise! 9775 Plank Road, Clayton.

Absolutely love this company they've been nothing but kind their customer service is great they're attentiveness to the customers and my needs of been amazing and I just want to give a shout out to Ashley who I believe works in sales or billing absolutely amazing love her to death would not want to work with anyone else

We have been with Steven’s since we bought our home last fall. We always go local when we can and have been greatly pleased with their pickup and communication! Our son adores watching them take our trash weekly and they also know to look for him in the window and give a couple of waves. We found his own truck to play with and he’s OBSESSED! Thank you Steven’s and crew for taking a few extra seconds to say hello to him!

Im my opinion, this company needs to train their drivers better. Cars were lined up at the humane society in Maumee today and we moved to allow him space to get through. He then couldn't handle turning around and backed close to my car. I recognized he needed space and pulled about 50 feet forward and turned my car to give him space for the turn. The driver then, instead of just turning, drove quickly towards my car honking his horn and only stopped when he was very close to my driver side door, in which I then had to move again. I have a CDL myself and I know he had plenty of room to turn since I moved my car. He was acting out of anger even though all I did was try to help. I was considering switching my residential to stevens but never will after this incident.
