We had some kind of critter sneaking into our rental, and they came out right away to take care of it! They set traps on the spot, walked us through potential problem areas, and even provided clear quotes for exclusion work. Super friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and quick to respond — BUT this only started out well. Wrote them back saying we heard the same noises after they removed the traps, they said they would come out for a free reinspection - then completely ghosted us. :(

My husband and I have rental properties and Matt has been a lifesaver when it comes to just handling things. He investigated and figured out where mice and chipmunks were coming in and since we sealed up those areas we havent had a problem since. Thanks again! I was overrun with 6 groundhogs. I called Southwest Wildlife removal, and all were trapped in 2 weeks. Matt was very pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend this company if you have any wildlife nuisance issues.

They were able to get us scheduled quickly. They placed traps over several weeks and replaced them weekly to deal with our attic squirrel infestation. They also recommended options to prevent future problems. I would highly recommend them for any future pest issues.

Matt did a great job figuring out where our basement-dwelling raccoon was entering and exiting the house. His kindness and expertise for a safe live capture was much appreciated. We had bats residing in our attic and attached garage, we live in the country, so we called SMWR to help with the problem. Matt was recommended by Mite-E exterminating located in Paw Paw Michigan. Matt came out to the house and surveyed the issue and recommended bat valves for the entry/exit points the bats use to gain access to the attic. The ridge vents on our house also showed signs of entry/exit points for the bats so he recommended a 'Ridge Guard' installation to solve that issue. We had Matt install the bat valves and Ridge Guard.The bat valves allow the bat to leave but not return. Two weeks later Matt returned to remove the valves and seal the entry points.Since this work was completed in November of 2023 and cold weather has set in, bats hibernate, we will have to wait until next spring to see the results. Matt gives a two year warranty with his work so we will be covered if there is still an issue.Matt seems very knowledgeable regarding bats and wildlife in general. He is professional and completed his work as stated.I would recommend Southwest Michigan Wildlife Removal.

We have had a groundhog gang of up to 4 setting up camp on our property for a couple years. They were not problematic until this year. So, I called this business and arranged a 5-day live trap service. One good-sized adult groundhog was captured during that time, and Mathew, the business owner, said that it appeared that only this groundhog was using our property currently. That's a relief!Mathew was respectful, knowledgeable, and thorough. I felt heard and considered as we discussed the plan, and I am grateful.It was worth our investment.
