Refresco Beverages is a business with friendly staff, except for the night shift yard dog worker who does not directly work for Coca-Cola. The facility has a gated security system with clear entry and pickup requirements, including sliding trailer tandems to the rear, parking inside the facility, checking in at the shipping office, having an appointment, ensuring the reefer is switched to the appropriate mode, and turning off truck lights during loading or unloading. Arriving early for appointments is common, and some customers report being loaded quickly even 13 hours before their scheduled time.
The facility provides a decent toilet and free drinking water from a fountain, with indoor and outdoor overnight parking available for trucks. Management is highly professional, and the secure environment, clear requirements, and efficient operation are highly recommended. There is also a small space outside the security gate for overnight parking. Overall, the business has received positive reviews for its professionalism, security, and service.
However, some customers have experienced delays, with waiting times for doors sometimes being lengthy, and waiting for loading can take a while. The guard at the gate will instruct drivers to slide tandems all the way back before entry, and after passing empty trailers, there is a staging area on the right with other trucks parked. Drivers often wait in the staging area if they arrive early or run out of time, and some have taken their 10-hour break there, though it is unclear if this is allowed. Staff at the shipping office are generally friendly, but one customer noted a very rude and disrespectful employee on May 24, 2024, which was an exception to the otherwise positive interactions experienced at the facility.
Got here 2hrs prior to my apt. Checked in first. They gave me the door number in less than 10 mins. Unloading and paperwork took about 2.5 hrs. Big yard. No problem moving around. Great people to work with. It is a coca cola facility. So far they are always great. I had so much problems with pepsi facilities. Knock on wood coca cola is always nice so far.
I don’t think the drivers who wrote the bad reviews picked up at the same place as I did. In my 40 years out here I don’t think Ive picked up at a place better than this. Quick, efficient, friendly and a parking lot even the drivers with blue trailers could probably maneuver and not hit too many things.
Guard shack has nice folks working in their, the people that tell you what door is the same way, getting you unloaded is about the same every where is that takes you 3 to 5 hours to complete the task. Overnight night parking is available I assume I seen a empty parking lot before entry. If not then theirs a truck stop and rest stop 5 to 10 minutes away.
