Oxford Veterinary Hospital, Dr Steep, and his wonderful staff has provided my cats and dogs with prompt expert care for many years. They go over and beyond and give compassionate care for my furry family members. I have learned to depend on their knowledge and up to date medical advice. They also listen to my concerns and allow me to play a vital part in decision making with regard to treatment and procedures for my pets.

Dr steep is the most kind and loving vet there is. His staff too. The last year I was blessed to have my sweet Finnegan was met with countless scares about his health and not a single time did dr steep turn him away or not make time for him when I was worried. Every single time I was anxious he made time between his regular visits to take care of him. I could honestly never thank him enough for the love and care and genuine concern he took over my boy. I miss Finnegan so much every day and I truly feel like dr steep does too. A thousand thank yous could never be enough for how much it meant to me, and to finny too. I still cry so much over him but I’m comforted knowing I had the most amazing people look out for him and do all they possibly could. Seriously an amazing vet practice.

I’ve taken my pets to this practice for many years. The staff is friendly, kind & professional. Dr. Steep is very open minded & willing to discuss your pet & any alternatives for treatment. He never pushes anything & helps you make the decisions that are right for you & your pet.

Dr. Steep is TRULY one of a kind. He is by far the most empathetic and compassionate person I’ve ever met. From the very first visit, it was clear that he genuinely cares about your pets and their well-being. He listens attentively to all of my concerns and takes the time to explain everything in detail, making sure I feel completely comfortable and informed. What really stands out is how he goes the extra mile by checking in with a call or email to see how my pet is doing. It’s not just about treating the illness; it’s about providing ongoing care and support. I feel so fortunate to have found someone who truly cares and treats my pets like family. I will never go to another vet no matter the drive and I promise to bring all of my future animals to Dr. Steep. His empathy and compassion make all the difference, and I can’t recommend him enough!!! <3

This was by far the best veterinary experience I’ve ever had. Dr. Steep went above and beyond—not just in medical care, but in the way he listened, respected my concerns, and truly partnered with me in diagnosing Regina. He wasn’t rushing to push us in and out. He took the time to thoroughly evaluate her symptoms, explain everything clearly, and treat her case with the depth and urgency it deserved.
It’s rare to find a vet who combines compassion, expertise, and genuine dedication the way Dr. Steep does. I left feeling heard, supported, and confident that Regina was in the best hands possible. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
