Paid $55 plus tip for a mens trim/cut. The person who cut my hair isn't a full time stylist at their shop, and wasn't prepared with a cape or mirror, and i dont believe they had their own seat there. I got a medicore trim, and the stylist definitely went too short one side. The price didn't match the service for a simple mens trim.

I hate leaving negative reviews but I received the worst hair cut of my life here.
The salon is very nice and everyone is really welcoming and friendly.
My stylist was Luzanne. She did a nice trim on my hair to start. When I asked for a bit more of a curtain bang and face framing things went downhill. I now have the most ridiculous chunky bangs that don’t blend in the hair cut at all. I look horrible. She made attempts to try and correct this. She and her assistant knew this was bad, it was written all over their faces. She then kept hovering over me asking if I was happy. I tried to be polite as I didn’t want her doing more to my hair at this point but it was apparent to us all I received a bad haircut.
I do have a slight colic on my right side, which I’m sure made this tricky, but as a stylist with this level experience, I expected to receive a cut that would work for my hair type. She made the cut and literally said, is this ok? Then said well I already did it so… no measuring where they would hit on my face, no checking, just cut these ridiculous bangs. Then keep cutting a “face frame” which is not a face frame at all, to try and blend it. Terrible.
She didn’t even properly layer my cut as discussed. I have stringy pieces hanging and the way it was cut makes my hair flip out in all directions. It’s just bad.
I write this as a caution. I’m sure she’s great at a normal trim or easy styles that everyone gets, but anything a bit more modern or if you say do what you think would be good, go to a different stylist.
I paid $70 and tipped 20% for this bad cut and there’s no fixing this until it grows out. Any place that makes you cry warrants this honesty.

Luzanne gave me a great haircut and more importantly was gentle. Riley was her assistant (washed my hair) and she was gentle also. You would not believe how long I looked for a stylist who was not rough.

I was long overdue for a haircut. Today I met senior stylist John and he did a great job! We discussed options, he explained a great plan, and did a fantastic job with my unruly curly hair! I am really pleased with the results and I will be back!

I love Gina Augusta salon. I have been getting my haircut by Luzanne for many years and I’ve been so happy with every cut. I’ve been seeing Aleah for my hair color and she also does a fantastic job. I live an hour away but make drive because it’s worth it!
