Nice lady, very caring of my dog and her wellbeing. Offered suggestions as to my dog's allergy problems. Price was very reasonable. I will be back

The first photo is of my dog Archie’s hairstyle Prior to her Grooming I specifically told her do not touch the top of his head or his ears because I caught that myself. All I wanted was his face trimmed and full body trimmed and to leave the tail long. She disregarded everything I requested, and when I went to pick him up, he was soaking wet and stunk and bald When I questioned why she would do something like that she laughed and said she thought he would look better this way
She originally quoted me $60 and when I went to pay, she tried charging me 80!!!! I’m not sure what’s wrong with her, but I would not recommend any animal being groomed by her!!

She did wonders with my 16 yr old Shih tzu, who is blind and deaf. He looks so good and smells fantastic. He was afraid, but she took her time and carring to make sure he could rest under his own stressor.

I just had one of the rudest and most judgmental phone calls I’ve ever experienced. I had called to inquire about availability for grooming two large dogs. The conversation quickly took a negative turn.
First, she asked which groomer I currently use and whether I was looking for a new one. I explained that my usual groomer is booked out, which is why I was calling. When she asked about my dogs, I told her I have a Bernese Mountain Dog—one is 10 months old, and the other is 6 years old and weighs about 150 pounds.
At that point, she began lecturing me that, after having my older dog for 6 years, I should already know to book his grooms in advance and that he should be groomed every two months. She added that she could understand if someone with a puppy didn’t know better, but insisted I “should know” because of my dog’s age.
I explained that throughout the summer my dog swims regularly, so frequent baths are unnecessary—we typically groom him before the summer and again after swimming season, then maintain a regular schedule. She dismissed this and went on to say she refuses to brush long-coated dogs, claiming she would always shave them down instead. I explained that with a double coat, shaving isn’t healthy, as their coat helps regulate body temperature. She replied that she has been grooming for years and that “hair grows back.”
There was more said, but I was so taken aback by her tone and attitude that I honestly can’t recall everything. What I do know is that I left the conversation shocked that a business owner would speak to a potential customer in such a rude and dismissive manner. I sincerely hope others don’t receive the same treatment.

I used to take my dogs to this groomer. I had been told about her being rude, irrational and disrespectful from other customers. I also heard about her refusing to return someone's dog and the police had to get involved so I decided to find a different groomer before I became a target of hers. I WAS friends with her on FB until she slandered my name and lied negatively about the treatment of my dogs all because we have differing political views. I was personally attacked by Raquel on social media. If she treats people this way, it makes me wonder how she treats our pets when we aren't around to see. Word to the wise, you should do better than bringing your pets to this business. I will never trust her to groom my pets, ever!

A week ago, I took Seppi to a new “groomer”, and this happened. She said that she couldn’t brush her so she was adamant that she should shave her down to the length of hair on her head. Seppi’s had some problems with itching, and that’s after trying the allergy shot, and Apoquel. This woman was convinced that Seppi had fleas and insisted that the only way to see is to shave her. Again, I was feeling very pressured and uncomfortable, and I wish that I would have taken Seppi out of there. Once she was shaved, she said that there were no fleas, which I had already said she didn’t have them. For the last week, my two cats have been afraid of her because she looks like a different dog, with Maggie hissing at her. Even Dugg is being aggressive towards her, and it breaks my heart. I’ve had to put a shirt on her so the animals wouldn’t be mean to her. I want my beautiful dog back, I’m gut wrenched over this. I believe this woman claims to be a groomer but there really wasn’t any grooming involved; I just paid $80 for a terrible haircut that I could have done myself. Without further ado, here’s my dog……..
