Here goes...I had been considering for a while of having a maid come clean my place….. It’s one of those luxuries you don’t think you need until you have it done I guess. So, I had always come up with reasons not to do it. Long story short, this past year I ended up breaking my hip and couldn’t continue with the household chores like I used to be able to. I don’t know if you’ve ever been forced to sit around and walk on crutches for 4 months but it’s not a fun time and you can’t really keep up with household chores. We had a crazy week... finding out at the last-minute that our landlord had assumed we were not renewing our apartment and that a new tenant would be moving in within days. I instantly knew my husband and I were going to be over our heads. Thank God I had a neighbor who recommended Angel Maids to me. I hired Angel Maids to do a complete cleaning after we left our apt (clean carpets, clean refrigerator, clean oven, bathrooms, the list goes on...). Jody was the maid that took on the task.Well, what did this amazing company do? The maids stopped over 3 nights of those days prior to moving out to make absolutely sure that the home was like new. After having a different maid service come and (unsuccessfully) clean our house we had to call them in an emergency to actually get the job done. They called me frequently to inform me of their arrival status, which was good because I was preparing for guests coming over. As soon as they walked in they introduced themselves and started working. It seemed like the two gals had worked & cleaned together for a long time.I was very comfortable having them in my house while my children, the house guests and our 2 dogs hung around.My appointment was late Friday afternoon so I'm sure they weren't overly happy about taking on a last minute job.They never showed it though or rushed...read full review
