Last week, our family friend died. I went to Barry's and only realized as I walked in the door at 6:08 that they were already closed. I asked to double check and they said, "Yes, we are closed, but how can we help you?" They were so kind and helpful and I was able to take a plant to our friend's house. Thank you for being so caring even when it was after closing time. It meant so much. ❤️

This place is seriously amazing. Their greenhouses have some of the most beautiful plants I have ever seen. I am a big fan of spicy pepper plants and they have Carolina Reaper, Peach Reaper, Chocolate Reaper, White Habenero, etc, anything i could dream of. Also the general gardening plants like tomatoes, cucumbers, etc are much healthier and cheaper than at the big box stores. Finally the "shade house" where all their trees are in is beautiful, it literally feels like you are walking through a park.

Update: I was just in the store today and met the new owners. While I have always enjoyed working with Rita over the years, it is clear that the new owners will be an asset to the community. They are great. I have always loved Barry's, but I am excited about what the future holds.Earlier review: One of my favorite businesses in North Muskegon. If you have not been to Barry's before, check them out. They have a great selection and nice staff. I try to get in there at least once a week during the spring and at least once a month the rest of the year. Highly recommended.
