About Cass Family Clinic: Niles
Niles Community Health Center (NCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides primary care and support services to the communities of Cass and southeast Berrien Counties, Michigan. As a Patient-Centered Medical Home, NCHC serves uninsured, underinsured, Medicare, Michigan Medicaid, and commercially insured patients. Established in 1964, the health center now cares for over 14,000 patients annually across three locations in Cassopolis, Niles, and Dowagiac. Patients generally praise the quality of care provided by NCHC's doctors, nurses, and pharmacy staff. However, some reviews note issues with the front office staff, who are described as rude and unhelpful at times. There are also concerns about the difficulty of getting same-day appointments for sudden medical issues. Despite these challenges, NCHC receives positive feedback from patients who appreciate the center's compassionate and professional approach, especially for those seeking treatment for substance abuse issues. Patients value the clear communication and attentive care they receive from the health center's staff across primary care, gynecology, and mental health services.
All of you people that make any comments need to stop complaining & stressing out the small stuff which is not healthy. I rather go there then go to Southwest Michigan Clinic since I had a Doctor there at the old building that was rude at me so I switched to Niles Community Health Center that was not rude at me so far maybe there are people just has some off days but don't be a worry wart over the situations & start taking care of your own problems first before stressing out at other people.
Absolutely awesome facility and staff outside of one individual, and she is one of them who works the font desk. She was working at 11:40 a.m. on December 10th 2025, and every time that I've encountered this woman she has been unnecessarily rude and snotty like her job is a problem. If you don't like your job, get a different one. If you're having a bad day, suck it up, deal with it, and do your job correctly and don't be negative to customers/clients/patients. If you lack the basic emotional competence to not be rude to a customer/patient/client, then you shouldn't be working with them.
