We just said goodbye to my husband's grandfather at Wasik Funeral Home. The staff were kind, friendly and helpful. We forgot to bring a knife to cut a cake we had brought for the family to enjoy and asked for assistance. The staff started to look right away for a knife for us. At the end of the evening when we were getting ready to leave they told us to take our time and say our goodbyes. We didn't walk out the door until 8:19pm. When we were trying to figure out what to do with the flowers when we had to take them we were told several times we could leave them overnight and get them tomorrow if we wanted there was no rush. Even though it was a very difficult time with great sadness in our family, our experience at the Waskik Funeral Home - Gendernalik Chapel gave us great comfort in knowing that our loved one was taken care of in a very professional and caring way.
I was recently at a visitation after Wasik’s took over the operations. The food room/lounge was so spacious and accommodating for the family. It was so nice to have that area for the family to retreat to. Great job, Wasik’s!
