We have thoroughly enjoyed our time at Traditional Karate Dojo, Sensei Slicker and the amazing group of black belt students that help with classes. My son took karate elsewhere and we didn't see progression over the course of 1.5 years. Within 6 months he has earned two belt levels and is working towards this third/green belt. My son LOVES going to karate and hopes to stick with it to adult black belt. Highly recommend.
Absolutely fantastic dojo. My son was enrolled for a year and loved going to karate. Sensei Slicker and all of the instructors are excellent with the kids and patient beyond belief. What I loved the most about their program is that it's not just about learning karate moves - it's about being a better person and teaching them life lessons. I sincerely was saddened when my son told me he wanted to quit so he could do soccer over the summer, and there's a big piece of me hoping come fall he wants to get back in with Traditional Karate Dojo!
This place is great! The instructors are awesome with kids. They keep the kids engaged and make it fun for them. You can tell they have a passion for working with kids. My daughter loves going here. She is learning discipline, hard work, and to set goals for herself. Highly recommend if your child is interested.
