Isabella Citizens for Health offers quality medical care for families with skilled and empathetic providers. Patients value the attentive staff who listen to their needs and avoid acting superior. The facility includes an on-site lab and pharmacy, making it convenient for blood draws and medication access. They provide competitive prices, including a sliding scale fee for those without insurance. The pharmacy staff are helpful and assist patients in finding lower-cost medicines. The doctors, such as Dr. Vogel and Dr. Ashwini, take time to get to know patients, stay updated with the latest research, and are honest about health improvements. Many patients appreciate that they rarely wait long for appointments and feel their concerns are truly listened to. Although some have experienced issues with billing through Quest Diagnostics, overall, many recommend the doctors and value the supportive environment at this healthcare center.
I’ve been a patient there since 2022. Dr Vogel is very knowledgeable and spends time to get to know you. He also keeps up with the latest research and reviews medical journals. He is very focused on your health and safety. You may see him wearing masks when he has immune compromised patients. He is up front and honest with you about how you can change your behavior to be healthier. Sometimes I don’t really want to hear that part but I respect and trust him. I use the pharmacy too and they are super about helping you get the medicines you need and even help to find a lower cost. I’ve never had a problem at Quest. The techs are well trained. They are professional but can get very busy. They still maintain a helpful attitude when patients get frustrated. I am very worried about the changes that are affecting health care access and worry people don’t realize cuts will impact them. We are fortunate to have this clinic in our community and I want to keep it here.
We appreciate the medical care our whole family receives at ICH. They certainly have many empathetic and skilled providers. My only comment is that their partnership with Quest Diagnostics could be re-evaluated. I have had consistent trouble with their billing and claim coverage and the follow through of QD is extremely poor. I will not get any more labs done through Quest Diagnostics.
From the receptionist to my PA Lacey Gardner to the pharmacy, everyone has always been professional, competent and friendly. They are willing to explain procedures and medications until I understand. I give them a five out of five stars
