Dr. Spencer is the ONLY doc that was willing to investigate my symptoms and complaints that were quickly dismissed by OTHER neurosurgeons. After imaging (MRI and CT) the cause was found.
This man truly took the time. There is no ego. He is just a very highly trained man trying to take care of his fellow humans.
I cannot possibly sing his praises loudly enough. This guy is absolutely amazing.
Update _ 9-2-25_ Had 3rd surgery 3-18-25 fractures above and below fusion. During his workup he also discovered an autoimmune disease (AS) and I'm now fused C4-T1 and recovering well. __ Dr. Spencer saved my life at 43! My story is anything but short and easy! After being misdiagnosed with pretty much a broken neck for a 1yr and half with a very well known local hospital/surgeon. I saw also a surgeon in Southfield who performed an inappropriate neck implant on 7-6-22, I declined rapidly after and got worse. The first surgeon left me hanging and blew me off.
