I have been coming for years getting my hair braided. Everyone is always nice they do a professional job. I usually shampoo & condition my hair before I go in just to save some time. They do allow you to do that. The prices are not ridiculous at least for what I get. They definitely cost me more in LA, Atlanta & Boston. Cook some housekeeping be done., definitely but going in feels like hanging out with family.
I was getting my hair done by the owner before she even had a shop. I remember going to her apartment and she would always have something yummy cooking on the stove. I can also remember her putting her daughter on my lap to hold while she braided my hair. Over the years as her company grew I started going to the shop in mount clemens. We would have some of the best conversations with lots of laughter. When i heard of her passing i was heart broken and still is to this day. I still haven't found the strength to go back in the shop it just isn't the same. Just riding pass im reminded of her.. Fatima I Miss You Dearly! ❤
I have been getting my single braids done for over 15 yrs here. The owner use to braid my hair but unfortunately she's no longer here which saddens me. However, I am never disappointed. The daughter is friendly.
When I say don't braid too tight they always follow directions. Its challenging getting appointments now since the pandemic. They just don't have as many braider anymore. I will be making my next appointment soon. Happy Customer!!
