This was not our first building experience and the first was less than positive-(To say the least). At that point, I had vowed never to build again. When it was time to take down our old family cottage to build a larger and safer residence, it was time to look for a custom builder to help create what was in our vision. We researched builders in the Sanford Lake area (Midland) area and narrowed our search to two builders. After walking out of our meeting with Kelly Wall-we knew immediately that we had found our builder. His ability to actually listen to our needs and creatively make them work was as unlike our previous experience as it could possibly be. The process of building our dream space was an exciting and pleasurable experience. Each and every one of the Greystone “family” was a pleasure to work with. Melissa Wall is a brilliant designer who helped to create a beautiful living space for our family, giving advice and support to all of my design decisions. Richard Skym who was, and continues to be the project manager, is a very talented, knowledgeable, hardworking and honest human being. I could continue to give praise to everyone on the job site, from painters to plumbers, electricians to floor installers, my only fear being that I would miss complimenting someone along the way. Everyone was polite and careful not to disturb one another during construction and were respectful and considerate to me and to my family. The result is an amazing Cottage for our family to enjoy for generations to come. I would never hesitate to recommend Greystone Homes for a truly customized build.
