I hadn't had a haircut in 3 years and it was very long. I explained to my stylist, Jocelyn, where I was in my experience and what had happened to get me there. She was very kind, talked to me all the way through the process so I would know what was going on, and listen to what I wanted. I generally do not like my hair when I leave the stylist. It's nothing personal, it's just that I style my hair differently, and a stylist usually wants to make me look like I'm wearing a helmet. That was not the case yesterday. It was a standard salon experience, with an extraordinary result. I already scheduled my follow-up for a trim.

I’ve been taking my kids there for their haircuts. I have a son and daughter. Joslyn does such a good job with them! She is so quick and consistent. My daughter is 7 and Joslyn chatted with her, she told me later that she liked her and getting her haircut there : ) what more could I ask for. Mandy was very friendly and helpful. I wanted my hair layered with a razor to obtain a certain look, Mandy knew how to cut hair with a razor which is very hard to find someone who can. Haven salon is a bit more expensive then other salons in Mason which is one reason for 4 stars and not 5. Also Mandy was going to get me some hair paste so I could achieve the look I was after but she never did get the paste for me. My overall experience was wonderful.
