Family grade and gravel did a wonderful job installing a new gravel driveway for us. Mark and Lori did an amazing job with our gravel driveway. We have always had a problem with potholes but since they put in limestone nearly a year ago, the potholes are gone and it still looks beautiful. At the end of a long day of working on this project, we asked Mark to tweak one area and he was glad to do it. Lori smoothed out the stone meticulously the entire length of the driveway. They were both a pleasure to do business with - solid, hard-working, family-oriented, patriotic people. We would do business with them again in a heartbeat.

We live in the country outside Mason and our side yard slopes down into an overgrown field that is usually too soggy to maintain. I had the idea of putting an access road across part of the field and around to the backyard. A friend recommended Family Grade and Gravel. Mark scheduled a time to meet with me, we agreed on what would need to be done and the price, and then he went to work. With his Bobcat, he cleared and grubbed and stripped the topsoil for the road. Next, he constructed the access road, installing sand, fabric, and crushed stone. Then he spread and leveled the topsoil,and seeded and mulched, and did a great cleanup ( with Lori’s help of course). Mark and Lori exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend Family Grade and Gravel.

What an AMAZING transformation Mark & Lori did for our home! We had a major project to regrade around our entire house, remove a huge tree stump, remove several small stumps, remove a fence, remove bushes, remove 40+ yards of stones, replace window wells, install underground downspouts, move several bolder rocks to new locations, add 40+ yards of topsoil, seed, fertilize and cover with straw. They did all the work in a little over a week. The end result is GREAT and my wife and I are so happy to now have a landscape that looks clean, has proper drain off and will be super easy to maintain. I highly recommend that if you need any type of work around your home that you call Mark & Lori! You will not be disappointed. They are professional and extremely skillful. Thank you Mark & Lori for a great job and making our landscape WONDERFUL!

Family Grade & Gravel does excellent rock driveway work. Mark completed my driveway a few months ago and just returned to do a little touch up work. I have dealt with a lot of contractors in my time, but none have come close to the friendly, honest, professional service that Mark delivers. The quality of his work is absolutely the best. Needed a new drain field. They took care of everything from the drain commissioner, to the electrician, permits, etc., etc. After installing the system brought in 45 yards of topsoil and did the restoration properly using some impressive landscaping equipment. Kept us informed and showed up when they said they would. A top notch operation.

Exactly what we needed! Our huge muddy uneven driveway is now the best part of our yard. They even seeded areas with new grass! Mark and Lori are very knowledgeable and answered all my questions.
