Marquette office is not located where Google maps sent me. When I finally found their office (check their website) it was not a helpful service.
I called their office and left multiple voicemail messages over the course of one week. They never returned my phone call. After driving an hour to get there, they advised me that a phone appointment has to be made. When I brought up that I called many times and got no answer and no reply to my voicemail messages, they acknowledged that they listened to my voicemails and made the choice to not call me back. They did not seem to have a reason.
After this experience I called the administration office to share my experience and left a voicemail there (Escanaba office). This call has also never been returned.
What a waste of time, energy, and resources especially when you consider these legal aid services are supposed to serve disenfranchised populations who are experiencing legal stress and pressure.
I have contacted the MI Attorney General's office regarding this experience and will continue to look for ways to report these events.

Talked with the intake lady and she was the rudest person ever! On top of it how she hung up was very disrespectful 😤 people are already dealing with alot they don't need to be disrespected on just asking the question so you know what's my case is about! If you don't like it, and want to keep trading people like that find a new job!

I got told 3 times that someone would call me at 8 am! I got up early to be ready for the call but no one ever called me! Just a bunch of liars work here! I'm still waiting to be called by a lawyer! A week after I was told they would!
