We have played this course for over 10 years. We think it is beautiful and challenging enough. We have friends visiting who are big golfers and they always comment on how great the course is and how beautiful the greens are kept. Idk what other people have to complain about but to us that is just insane. Beautiful course, nice staff and ALWAYS happy to play there. It is our course of choice in an area that is known for its courses.
Affordable, friendly staff, and decent course. The only real drawback is the abundance of horseflies. They are so aggressive and seem to be more and more pockets of them that it can be difficult to focus on your game when you’re continually trying to get away from them. Maybe they could spray or something, idk. I really like golfing here, but last time I was so frustrated and annoyed with the horseflies I only played 9 and left.
A very nice value course. The first hole made us question if the course was going to be interesting as it’s pretty flat and open, but by the third or forth hole the scenery really great great and very Northern Michigan in style. Can’t speak to the back nine as we only had time for the front but a great deal.
