Our family reached out to RG&GR Harris funeral home during the most difficult time in our lives and all the staff were very professional, supportive, calming and caring during this process. David the funeral director assisted us initially and provided us with all the resources to have this process go smoothly. Tiffany was easy to contact when we needed something and was able to help us navigate through every step. Tiffany was available to us even after time had gone by if we needed additional services. I would recommend Harris funeral services during a time of need.

Took my mom here to pick up her husband's ashes & I am just baffled by the lack of compassion and unprofessionalism Tiffany had. We got there she was running around like a headless chicken. She then sits in the office and yells for her to come sign for release. They hadn't called to say his ashes were ready, ma had to call & ask about him. We anticipated big emotions about picking him up and all we could feel was worry because they're handling her services once its time as well. When that time comes, if we get this same service, someone is getting an earful. It's a funeral home, not a tanning salon, get some empathy.

David at RG & GR Harris Funeral Home in Livonia was kind, respectful, and professional. He accommodated all of our wishes when we met to plan mom’s funeral, including the day and times that worked best for us. The family lounge was large and comfortable. I also appreciated the staff adding some last minute pictures we brought on the day of the viewing to the dvd displayed on the monitors.

Our family experienced a horrific accidental death of my oldest daughter. Amanda was 45 and died in Iowa, where the state insisted on an autopsy. Dave and his staff were amazing. They immediately contacted Iowa and the coroner’s office. Information was garnered and everything went as smoothly as possible. Dave and his staff even worked with Workman’s Comp. This afforded us more peace in such a time of turmoil. I cannot speak more highly of RG and GR Harris Funeral Homes and Cremation Services. They were compassionate, kind and basically jumped in front of us to protect us from more disruption in our grieving process. We are 4 1/2 months out and they are still inquiring on how we are doing as a family and offering services. Thank you to all the staff!
