One of the worst vets I've ever been to. Called in to have medical information sent to my new vet, they just hung up on me and never called back. Couldn't careless about the well being of your pet, just want to get you in and out as fast as possible

Dr. Jan is so kind and gentle and knows how to help animals and talk with their people. Excellent experience from the first call.

Dr Jan is fantastic. Has always been considerate and caring for my dog and we never feel rushed. I feel very fortunate to have her as my vet.

Time management seems to be a huge struggle for this office. I've been taking my two dogs for over a year, and every appointment has started over a half hour late. The staff is extremely inconsiderate to force animals who are already anxious to wait amongst other anxious animals. Twice I've had to leave because I could not wait any longer and had to return to my own job. The staff never apologizes or gives a reason for their terrible tardiness. They've also incorrectly entered one of my dog's shot records into their system, and the error is never corrected. I do not trust this Vet hospital.

They only have one doctor and Dr.Jan is very good at what she does, but getting a appointment is terrible in a emergency situation, they hardly ever answer the phone, then the wait time once you get there is 2hrs. I’m in search of a new Vet who is just as good but not booked and busy and can see my dogs whenever they are sick!!!

Veternarian acceptable but person @ front desk VERY disorganized & unprofessional.Calls complete strangers "Honey".This is very offensive. She also became argumentative & tried to talk over me while repeatedly calling me Honey.Do the bosses know that this is the type of treatment their customers receive? We were charged for services never done. They will not credit or refund.I assume it was this hot mess that didn't send the specimen promptly to the lab so the specimen became degraded. When questioned by another person the story changed. Was told test results were inconclusive. Better get your story straight "Honey."

We took lil chopper here because he ate some poisonous weed and was very sick, they took great care of the lil pup and 24 hours later he was back to his frisky rambunctious self.

Our cat had a tumor that suddenly appeared one week. We had taken our cat here before, because we noticed he lost 2-4 pounds suddenly before he got the tumor. The vet said this was entirely normal. We took him in again immediately when we noticed the tumor, they did some blood tests and x-rays, but couldn't tell us anything. They told us to either see a specialist, or put our cat down. We ended up going to the specialist, who told us our cat had a heart murmur, so they couldn't operate on him without us seeing another specialist. After being told this, I remembered that I never saw Livonia Veterinary Hospital even use a stethoscope ONCE during our checkups. If they had done this, we wouldn't have had to go to the specialist and paid $500 just to be told that we'd have to see another specialist to fix his heart murmur. Essentially, we have been paying this vet hundreds of dollars just to look at our pets the bare minimum. After this experience, I will most definitely be looking for another vet to take my dog to, as I don't want the same thing to happen to her. A checkup should be thorough... and not just "oh your pet looks fine, so I won't check anything else". I don't need someone else to tell me that, I can obviously tell when my pets look sick.
