    The women’s sauna is never hot anymore. Machines don’t work. If you can afford to go to a better gym, I’d recommend that.

    I’m from Arizona visiting Michigan. I must say this particular LA fitness does not have a very great cleaning. Staff just review of the pictures I took. Hair on top of the shower, stall, empty soap, bowl, un swept locker area and mold, growing on shower curtain.

    Gym equipment is not well maintained, and often machines are down, ripped, or otherwise unusable. No paper towel, seat covers or towels available ever. Sales team is pushy, unhelpful and borderline harassing (Eman especially). Seems to be a single person cleaning and based on the cleanliness of the gym, they need at least three.

    That being said, actually gym goers are friendly (except for the fist fight that broke out between an employee and a guest where police had to respond). The classes are also decent, but once again, run down mats and other equipment. You can find a good rotation on the courts.

    Unsafe location, had things stolen out of my locked locker twice and the staff was no help. Staff blamed me for using the wrong type of lock and told me that it is common for people to break into locks in the locker room.. If that is the case why is there not more security or staff monitoring the locker rooms. Sounds like it is a known problem, I'm sure it is happening to other people and nothing is being done. Will not come back to this location as I shouldn't have to worry about things being stolen from a locked locker

    I’ve been a member of LA Fitness since 2016. Almost 10 years. Never been stopped going to an any LA’s out of the state. Advised me I had to pay $10. For what. This the same LA in my home state with the same amenities that I pay for on a monthly basis. I obviously am not home to be able to utilize the membership I pay for. Anywho. Front desk offered no alternatives for me, besides to change my entire membership paying an extra $100 +. So I left and went to Livonia, where Rob the Asst. manager was able to come up with a temporary solution for me. He also let me workout without issue. How hard is that to do? Corporate needs better options for people who travel for work. Sure it’s not the front desk fault who’s just a worker. Members should get the same treatment and options at every gym!

    Eman was very nice and helpful, made the entire process extremely easy.
    I would recommend her to anyone who is trying to make a gym membership.
