I started going here almost 20 years ago. I stopped about 10 years ago because Dr Rubin left and honestly I don't like Grekins attitude or flippant behavior. I recently went back (Sept of 22) because of a spot on my leg. My other derm couldn't see me for 3 months. I had it removed, and had several follow ups. The last 2 times I have waited over an hour in the lobby because the staff DID NOT verify insurance (which wasn't an issue at prior visits) beforehand. Had I been the one making the office wait over an hour, or came unprepared, I would've been told to leave. Grekin Skin Institute, why isn't MY time as valuable as yours? I already didn't want to be there, so why make it worse by forcing me to wait anxiously? Why does the staff not do their jobs in a timely manner? They used to! My other drs offices do... what's wrong with Grekins?

Mr. Grekin, I was seen in November for a suspicious spot on right forearm. You dismissed it as nothing. When it continued to grow, I went to see a competent physician who did a biopsy and diagnosed melanoma. The cancer was surgically removed along with lymph node from armpit. Thankfully I was persistent and trusted my instinct. It is strongly suggested that you seek additional education so that more people will not be misdiagnosed and mistreated with your flippant attitude.

I liked how quick and efficient my visit was . I went to have a few spots / moles checked and they removed some and burned (my incorrect term) others off that first visit. About a week later I relieved a call about the results, just like they promised . In my case, all was good .
