EDIT 2025: I've been using these guys for about 5 years now and they've always done a great job. It's nice not being frustrated trying to work with self-service programs that are often buggy and confusing. My only complaint is that in the time I've used X-Tax, they've continually raised their prices. This year I paid $170 for a basic tax return (up from $150 last year, and $120 when I first started using X-Tax). My partner paid $200 and the only difference with her return was that she claimed our child. They are quickly approaching the limit of how much I'm willing to pay for this service.
