Xavier is a dedicated teacher committed to one’s constant improvement. He carefully selects songs and shares notes on what to improve. He emphasizes technique and expression, and has a great sense of how to play different styles. I especially appreciated his work on how to give expression to a classical piece respecting its style. A bonus was that we could freely switch between English and Spanish. My son and I always came happy from the lessons.
