The instruction is easily digestible yet advanced, with a well-structured class format that includes warm-ups, drilling, and open mat. The gym maintains a safe and comfortable training environment, and they even offer a separate women's class. Newcomers can take advantage of a week-long trial with unlimited classes to ensure the gym is the right fit. Knowledgeable instructors, great environment, and fantastic culture. Everyone is really nice, chill, and happy to help beginners. I would 10/10 recommend Magic BJJ. I credit them for me having one of the best summer's of me life.
I just visited Magic BJJ during a visit back home with family. I have lived out of state for quite some time and have no idea about any of the local gyms. This one popped up with excellent reviews and they all make sense. Some of the things that make this gym awesome in no particular order:
1: their mats have plenty of space and they are raised.
2: their instructors and students were all so welcoming and everyone had a positive attitude.
3: there was a very high ratio of upper belts to lower belts in the class I attended. That means there’s a plethora of experience and always someone to answer questions.
