Wonderful experience, very accommodating and patient with my indecisiveness

I am very disappointed with my experience at Lake Orion Vision. I was charged $200 for an office visit and an additional $95 for a contact lens fitting, yet I never actually received a contact lens fitting.

During my appointment, the optometrist noted that I had dry eyes, prescribed eye drops, and told me to return the following week for trial contact lenses. I later decided to cancel that follow-up appointment. Despite never placing contact lenses on my eyes, evaluating the fit, or completing the fitting process, I was still charged the fitting fee.

When I questioned the charge, I was told it was because they had ordered contact lenses for me. However, from my perspective, I paid for a service that was never performed. I understand there may be costs associated with ordering trial lenses, but charging a full fitting fee without actually conducting the fitting feels unfair.

I believe patients should be clearly informed about these charges in advance and should not be billed for services that were never completed. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling misled and dissatisfied.

Have gotten my eye exams, glasses and contacts here for many years. Dr. Lindsey is very thorough. All her staff are courteous and very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend Lake Orion Vision for all your Optical needs.
