“Went here for Valentine's Day 2026 at 7pm (the height of the dinner hour). Despite being very busy the place wasn't excessively loud or crowded. The ambiance is dark and romantic and you hardly notice other people are in the restaurant. We weren't crammed in and noise was medium level so it was easy to talk. Service was great, our waitress Ainsley knew the menu well and made good suggestions with backing reasoning as if she had eaten every dish. She came around often to make sure we had what we needed and made friendly conversation. The food was excellent, we had the Filet Wellington and the Salmon. Bread service with the tallow candle was a novelty but we didn't dare try to eat the tallow! I had the lobster bisque as well which was creamy and amazing. The Wellington was flavorful and dense, and portions were generous. The salmon was delicious as well and much lighter if you are looking for a dish that will make you feel like you are getting gourmet food but keeping a lid on the calories. For dessert we had the carrot cake which was excellent. Overall, we completely enjoyed every aspect of the evening and felt that the prices were reasonable for fine dining and totally justified.
