Ultima Hair Salon is a place to go for a nice haircut where clients can relax. The salon is surrounded by beautiful flowers. Customers report absolutely wonderful haircuts from talented stylists described as masters. Stylists are friendly and kind, able to work with thick, curly, long hair and turn uneven cuts into layered things of beauty. They exceed expectations, working with minimal direction to provide exactly how the client wants it done. They are skilled at questioning new customers to ensure satisfaction. The salon offers everything from a haircut to a pedicure, all delivered with a smile. The fresh hairdo makes everyone smile. Many customers are regulars who will not allow anyone else to touch their hair and will absolutely be returning, highly recommending the salon.
I just came back from my appointment with Brett I am so satisfied with my haircut. He turned my uneven bob into a layered thing of beauty. With minimal direction for me he was able to wow me with his talent.
Brett was so friendly and kind and I will absolutely be returning for his services for my next cut.
I’m originally from California where there are salons everywhere! And I had a few of my faves that I was a regular at. As a Samoan Pacific Islander, it’s very hard to find a stylist who knows how to work with my hair.When I moved to MI in 2020, I was looking for a stylist who can work with my hair. My hair is thick curly and long (have cut it recently) that’s when I met the lovely Mel!He did my hair once & I knew that I found my stylist in MI! :) and will not allow anyone to touch my hair unless it’s Mel.He has worked on my hair since. it’s been 3 years now and Mel continues to exceed my expectations! Awesome Altima hair salon is the place to go and get a nice haircut relax and enjoy the traffic going in and out of downtown Kalamazoo beautiful flower surround the salon and you can get everything from a haircut to a pedicure and it all comes with a smile because the fresh hair do makes everyone smile
