Scott knows so very much about his work. He is honest, thorough, and fast. I cannot recommend him highly enough.I just bought a cello he had made. Wow! The sound is sweeter by the day.
I have been going to Scott for many years for my violin needs. Extremely friendly, personable, and goes far and beyond in terms of service. He doesn’t just do what you ask, he checks over the whole instrument to make sure it’s in good order. I now live in the Detroit area and still make the drive to him if I need a bow re-hair or instrument repair since I completely trust him.
Scott is a great craftsman, super knowledgeable, and easy to work with. There is nothing negative to report here. Violin, viola, cello, bass, he works on all of them; we're fortunate to have him here.He's a genuine luthier, so it's unlikely your stringed-instrument issue will stump him.Highest recommendation without reservation.
