Always the first place I call when I have an issue with one of our vehicles. They're very honest about what repairs are needed and I've never felt like I was being pressured or upsold on something I didn't actually need done.
I have dealt with Bill and Sam for several months, and I have seen their interaction with other customers and with myself. They are good decent people who understand customer service and are very knowledgeable about repairing vehicles. I was explaining the work that I needed performed on the SUV, fairly detailed issue and Sam (she answers the phone which doesn't begin to describe her knowledge) goes into details about the issue without being told. Other shops that I contacted did not seem to thoroughly understand the issue, but at Performance Plus the receptionist has exceptional knowledge of the repair work they do. I’m from Massachusetts and recently drove to Kalamazoo to visit family.When I arrived my car began to leak fluid and left a big 2 foot circle under the car. I moved it and it left another big circle.I called my mechanic back east and showed him pictures of the leak and where it was coming from. He was almost certain it was the heater core.My son in law recommended I take it to Performance Plus. After extensive pressure testing and troubleshooting they told be the vehicle was completely free of any type of leak.They told me it was condensation, and explained how it came about.
