My standard poodle Franzik wrapped up his FastCAT season this weekend at the Kalamazoo Kennel Club — and what a finish! 🏁🐾 HUGE shoutout to KKC for their incredible new FastCAT track! The upgrades are amazing: ✅ The sand pit at the end adds such a great layer of safety, especially for the high-drive dogs like Franzik who don’t exactly believe in brakes. ✅ Double fencing was a thoughtful addition and made the whole setup feel much safer for dogs and handlers alike. ✅ Fence blockers along the main run were a game-changer — not just for the distractible pups running , but also for over-the-top prey-driven maniacs like Franz who usually lose their minds in line 😂 He could still hear the lure and get amped, but it didn’t overhype him into full meltdown mode — just the right balance! The turf surface he ran totally fine on— He still chased that “rabbit” like his life depended on it 🐇💨 Thank you to the Kalamazoo Kennel Club! We’ll definitely be back next year!
