Teri has been teaching my husband and I for two years. We’ve loved learning from her and wholly recommend her as an instructor. She is incredibly approachable and positive yet has quite a discerning eye and ability to constructively correct us.
We’ve taken her Simply Social group classes and as a result feel comfortable dancing together at weddings and parties. We've also loved taking her beginner ballroom group classes. All of her group classes are collaborative and as a result, we have made a number of friends through her studio. Teri also arranged for her students to perform at a local assisted living facility which was fun for everyone involved.

I love learning to dance at this studio! Teri teaches very clearly and really helps you understand what needs to happen and what adjustments you can make to improve and dance more freely.
There are ongoing Ballroom lesson series every five weeks, so I get to learn a little bit of everything over time. They also offer a Simply Social Series that’s based in ballroom but can be danced to almost any music, which I really love!
They host a monthly dance social where we get to use everything we’re learning, and they’re always available to help with questions or adjustments during the dance itself.

I have been learning ballroom dancing from at Kalamazoo Ballroom Academy for about 4 years. Teri and the other instructors are incredible teachers with amazing passion and patience. I have participated in group lessons as well as individual lessons. I have learned much in each format.
Kalamazoo Ballroom Academy is an outstanding place to learn dancing! I highly recommend this studio!
