Staff was super friendly, the place was very clean and organized. I got a spray tan a few days before I was in a wedding and the only reason I knocked off a star was the staff did not explain to me when they said "Wash it off after 6-8 hours" to not use soap. Only rinse with water. So at 7 hours I washed my body gently with body wash (didn't use a loofa or wash cloth or anything) my tan came off completely and I washed $40 down the drain. Partly my fault, I could have asked more questions but I was definitely disappointed.

Best Tanner in Kalamazoo. Staff is knowledgeable and very professional. I've been tanning for many years and appreciate the combination of new technology with experienced staff. Started my Island Heat experience with original owner, former Kathy Hill Pro Co Sound sales guru, to current owners who have elevated Island Heat to a true Spa experience.

I don't use tanning beds very often but going forward, I will only go to Island Heat on Stadium. Lexi was so helpful and patient with me while I decided on a tanning package and her attitude and eagerness to help never changed when I finally decided on purchasing just a single visit.
