“Truly a judgement free space! My hair was too long, buildup on scalp, with matted bits. I was welcomed. Kind people, calm atmosphere, and was a wonderfully positive expierence. I am unbelievably thankful for it (even had a small sense of accomplishment walking in after finding their tucked away gem). Didn't know what I was looking for, thought maybe just brush and chop given the time allotted but no; the buildup was exfoilated, an undercut for positive redirect/sensory seeking vs. picking, AND She even made time to add a pop of color to the ends all excited like, saying "yes, we're doin this" as she skipped away lending me a bit of her excitement. Hands were deft, practiced/professional and yet kind. The transformation cut truly was transformative and I left feeling lighter, scalp clean, hair more managable, and actually smiled at myself in the mirror for the first time in half a year. “I took my mom here for the first time early October 2023 and she got color and a cut. I haven't seen such a huge smile on her face in a long time. They did such a great job. Shout out to Emma her stylist for listening and working with us to get what we wanted done. I loved the experience so much I decided to trust them to do a drastic hairstyle change on me and I was absolutely in love with my hair when she was done. I had Josie as my stylist. I was terrified but determined to make a change. She was so amazing and when I made an observation toward the end she insisted on doing what I suggested even though it took me over on time. She said I am not letting you leave until you like your hair. I liked it at that point but it wasn't exactly what I had imagined but by the time she finished it was exactly what I wanted and I was in love with it.“
